We will be leaving on Wed. Aug 22 for part 2 of our Route 66 adventure. We will be driving to Baxter Springs, Kansas via Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska and Kansas. Baxter Springs is in the southeast corner of Kansas and we will continue into Oklahoma to continue our exploration of the Mother Road.
Route 66 continues through Oklahoma, the panhandle of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California to end at Santa Monica. We have a week booked in Las Vegas from Sept. 7-14 so whereever we are on Sept. 6 will be end of the trip for this year. If it isn't Santa Monica then we will finish the rest of Route 66 next year.
Hope you have time to look at our blog occasionally to see our progress. Look forward to hearing your comments if you are able to figure out how to do it. Dennis, maybe you could give instructions on how to accomplish this as we really enjoyed your comments on your trip last year.
